After being settled in the dark,
I am now equipped with the knowledge that my Tomorrow is not as promising as my Today.
Getting things delayed for the next day’s task,
Is setting myself on a path of the unknown.
I have the control of today on my cracked palms, for the next day is not as promising as the dawn of today.
Tomorrow maybe piled up with new distractions, new laws, new plights and new agony, But today is as fresh as the spring water,
And l can do all l have to do with ease.
My today’s incomplete task,
Might be so risky for tomorrow,
I may end up not seeing the breakthrough for the set goals.
Maybe Tomorrow l might get into coma,
Waking up the following year.
Maybe l might be detained,
For a crime that l know nothing of.
But if I carry each task of each day,
As the last blood on my bone marrow,
Not minding if there is a tomorrow,
My years will glamour with untimely joy.
For today has smiled on me with a beautiful energy,
One at which maybe dimmed the next day.
I shall pen today’s goals on a golden plate,
Consciously tagging the day priceless.
Step by step, l shall make the goals see light.
For in completing the penly goals,
I am installmentally saving tomorrow’s strategized setbacks.
So let me do what l have to do today,
Knowing tomorrow has her own plagued of responsibilities.
For surely , Today is certain but Tomorrow is mystery
