Intellectual Disability– Just like every loving mother who hustles to provide for her child, a devoted grandmother worked hard to ensure her granddaughter’s well-being.

The granddaughter, who is mentally challenged and unable to speak, was often left at home in one of the communities at Ghana while the grandmother worked on their farm.

One fateful day, the grandmother discovered that her 19-year-old granddaughter was two months pregnant, having been taken advantage of by an unknown man.

The situation became even more dire when it was revealed that the granddaughter was carrying twins.

Their living conditions were deplorable – a dilapidated house with poor ventilation, infested with mosquitoes.

The grandmother, aged and ailing, with no helper and her husband deceased, was overwhelmed.

She shared her ordeal on Twin Diaries’ social media platform, pleading for help: “I’m sick, my husband is late, and we need assistance! At night, these children cry due to starvation. She has intellectual Disability and cannot speak; she only stares blankly when questioned.”

Fortunately, the situation took a turn for the better as generous donations poured in to support the family. Their household was refurbished, and essential goods were provided for the babies.
