Death: Its Sting So Vague And Fearful

The sting of death made me, who once chased, soon become the chased

In the comfort of freedom, I felt critically confined

How far could I go when the closest seemed farthest

The police was virtually policed

How life had proven itself unbearable

All l could take solace in was the hope of death

But I feared its claws as I recalled

That once gone – forever gone

The warrior was soon worried

Hope seemed vague

Rescue sounded absurd

It all sounded insane

What went wrong?

I tried to find out

To think that I would call for death

“Life must have been so unfair”
